This role is funded full time although we are open to part time applications or dual applications from a couple who wants to minister together. Living Faith is able to offer competitive and flexible packaging options with various forms of compensation available including housing.

With the retirement of the current senior pastor, Living Faith is seeking a new senior pastor to lead the church. The senior pastor is well supported by a passionate and dedicated leadership team including an Associate Pastor, Executive Pastor, Youth Pastor as well as part time Admin.

The Senior Pastor must show the characteristics of good Christian leadership:
• Integrity
• Passion for the lost
• Hospitable
• Cultural awareness and sensitivity
• Accountable

The Senior Pastor is expected to have a broad skill base in order to successfully lead multiple departments including children’s ministry, youth, seniors, music, board etc. Their skills should include
• Visionary, can carry the vision for the next 20 years but also can visualise and articulate plans
• Strategic leadership
• Able to mentor leaders
• Sound understanding of the ACNC responsibilities
• Extensive experience leading leaders and managing teams
• Proven pastoral, preaching, teaching and leadership experience
• Spiritual maturity
• Understand the legal obligations of someone leading an incorporated body
• Has an open mind and can keep pace with digital trends.
