About Church Jobs Australia
Church Jobs Australia was founded in 2018 by Karen Stuckey after seeing a growing challenge facing churches across Australia: finding the right people for ministry roles.
At the time, Karen was serving through Church Support Australia, working closely with churches from a wide range of denominations and backgrounds. Again and again, church leaders expressed the same concern:
“We need staff, but we don’t know where to find them.”
From pastors and youth workers to administrators, worship leaders, and ministry coordinators, churches were struggling to connect with suitable candidates who shared their vision and values.
Church Jobs Australia was created to help bridge that gap.
Vision
My vision is simple:
To strengthen Australian churches by helping them connect with the people God is calling into ministry.
I believe healthy churches need healthy leaders, and that many ministry opportunities remain unfilled simply because churches and potential candidates never find each other.
By providing a dedicated platform focused on church and ministry roles, I aim to make those connections easier.

Karen has spent many years serving churches and Christian ministries throughout Australia, supporting leaders, helping churches grow, and creating practical solutions to ministry challenges. Having worked alongside churches of different sizes and traditions, she understands the unique challenges churches face when recruiting staff and volunteers. Church Jobs Australia continues to be driven by a heart to serve the Church and strengthen ministry across Australia.
